SCOTT JACOBSON

Scott Jacobson has more than 19 years of experience in derivatives trading and research. Prior to joining Waverly Advisors Scott headed derivative research at Sanford Bernstein. Prior to that, Scott was the Head of Research at Capstone Global Markets, a derivative boutique specializing in volatility across multiple global asset classes. Previously, Scott was a proprietary trader managing long/short portfolios and arbitrage strategies for Jefferies and Cargill Financial. Before Cargill, Scott managed total return fixed-income portfolios and led the credit research department at Piper Capital Management. Scott started his career leading a mortgage- and asset-backed securities group for Deloitte. Scott holds CFA and CPA (MN) certificates. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and graduated summa cum laude with BS and BBA degrees in computer science and accounting from the University of North Dakota.
